  • Reid Grossmann
  • President

As President of RMG Financial, Mr. Grossmann oversees all aspects of client services and product development and provides credit risk management, financial review and evaluation, contract negotiation support, financial and credit modeling and scoring, and a variety of other credit management and financial support services to client companies that transact in wholesale and retail energy markets throughout North America. 

As the former Assistant Treasurer and Director of Corporate Credit for Avista Corporation, Reid oversaw the credit and banking functions for all business lines at Avista including Avista Utilities and Avista Energy, Inc.  As the former Director of Credit and Contracts for PG&E Energy Trading, Reid was instrumental in the development of the initial credit and contracts departments for that company.  As an employee of PG&E's gas pipeline, Reid was involved with PG&E acquisitions in Texas and Australia. 

Mr. Grossmann holds a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from the University of Colorado and is a CPA (Oregon).

 
  • Rachel Reisenauer

Ms. Reisenauer has provided analytical and financial expertise to RMG Financial since 2003 and has been an integral part of all aspects of the operations of the company, from client support to product development.   She provides comprehensive financial analytics and research of energy companies and uses her strong analytical and computing skills for the development of the RMG Scoring Model. In addition, Rachel has worked with clients in the assessment of credit and risk policies and procedures. 

In addition to providing analytics, Rachel utilizes her strong organizational and communication skills and philosophy of providing superior customer service to help run the North American Power Credit Organization (NAPCO).  As the NAPCO meeting facilitator, she successfully plans three meetings a year, works with NAPCO members and sponsors and helps conduct an annual best practices survey.

Prior to RMG Financial Consulting, Rachel was an analyst for EES Consulting, where she provided financial research, financial modeling, price forecasting of natural gas and electricity, and litigation support services for defense of client claims in the Enron Bankruptcy.  In addition, she also performed cost of service studies, cost of generation studies, and feasibility studies, which provided her with a strong background of the utilities industry.

Ms. Reisenauer holds a B.A. in Economics from Gonzaga University, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors and holding honors in Omicro Delta Epsilon (Economics Honor Society).

 
  • Larry Pierce

As the former CFO of Avista Energy, Inc., Mr. Pierce directed the finance information systems, accounting, credit, contracts and tax functions of the company, and developed and oversaw a $25 million operating budget.  Larry developed the mid- and back-office functions at Avista Energy from a start-up to a top-10 ranked energy trading company. 

As the former VP/Treasurer of Avista Corporation, Larry managed corporate debt and a preferred stock portfolio of over $1 billion, and assumed responsibility for investor relations, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, taxes and corporate information systems. 

Mr. Pierce holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Washington State University.

 
  • Kim Misso
  • Project Manager

Kim Misso is a risk management and compliance professional with 13 years of capital markets experience.  She has provided credit risk, compliance and operational consulting services to clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies with a focus on financial services and energy trading companies.  Kim has performed detailed and comprehensive financial analysis for more than 200 counterparty names including cash flow projections, liquidity analysis and debt covenant research.  She also has experience in assessment credit risk management practices, policies and procedures, and contracts.  Kim is a proficient project manager, with a detail-oriented and analytical approach to assisting clients with uncovering and managing their most significant risks.

Ms. Misso holds a B.B.A. in Operations Management, International Business from Loyola University School of Business.

 
  • Rich Reim
  • Senior Financial Analyst

Mr. Reim is an integral part of RMG Financial’s credit analysis business line and provides in-depth financial analytics and credit evaluation of energy companies and financial institutions, including both foreign and domestic banks.  He has over 12 years of commercial and residential banking experience with a number of banking and non-banking financial intermediaries, including project management, credit risk analysis, loan workout and administration and loan origination.  In addition, Rich has over five years of credit and treasury management with large municipal utility district focusing on credit risk analysis, risk mitigation and contract management and negotiation.  During this time, he was responsible for investment and management of treasury portfolio including cash flow forecasting, internal and external reporting and investment recommendation.  Rich has five years of business consulting experiences with a regional economic development agency where he lead the development of business plans, cash flow forecasting, and marketing plans for local business leaders; presented at local and regional economic development conferences and was responsible for management and administration of a small-cap loan fund used for start-up and higher risk capital for new and growing businesses.

Mr. Reims holds a B.A. from Western Washington University and a Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University.

 

Mr. Saeger provides application development and consulting services to RMG Financial Consulting, Inc.

Prior to providing services to RMG Financial, Mike spent 9 years as the Senior Programmer Analyst and Database Administrator for Avista Energy.  Mike has also provided development services for energy companies in Texas, California, Oregon and Washington.  Mike's broad experience includes developing Energy Trading and Marketing applications, data warehousing, data extraction and transformation, database and application conversions, intranet and internet applications and other trading and accounting line of business interfaces. He excels at understanding complex trader needs and meeting those needs through software.
