Experienced industry professionals with exceptional analytics expertise and leadership skills, RMG Financial's dedicated team of consultants each have over a decade of experience in the energy industry.

  • Reid Grossmann
  • President

As President of RMG Financial, Mr. Grossmann oversees all aspects of client services and product development and provides credit risk management, financial review and evaluation, contract negotiation support, financial and credit modeling and scoring, and a variety of other credit and risk management and financial support services to client companies that transact in wholesale and retail energy markets throughout North America.

As the former Assistant Treasurer and Director of Corporate Credit for Avista Corporation, Reid oversaw the credit and banking functions for all business lines at Avista including Avista Utilities and Avista Energy, Inc.  As the former Director of Credit and Contracts for PG&E Energy Trading, Reid was instrumental in the development of the initial credit and contracts departments for that company.  As an employee of PG&E's gas pipeline, Reid was involved with PG&E acquisitions in Texas and Australia.

Mr. Grossmann holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.

  • Rachel Reisenauer
  • Vice President 

Ms. Reisenauer has provided analytical and financial expertise to RMG Financial since 2003 and has been an integral part of all aspects of the operations of the company, from client support to product development.   She provides comprehensive financial analytics and research of energy companies and uses her strong analytical and computing skills for the development of the RMG Scoring Model. In addition, Rachel has worked with clients in the assessment of credit and risk policies and procedures. In addition to providing analytics, Rachel utilizes her strong organizational and communication skills and philosophy of providing superior customer service to run the North American Power Credit Organization (NAPCO).  

Prior to RMG Financial Consulting, Rachel was an analyst for EES Consulting, where she provided financial research, financial modeling, price forecasting of natural gas and electricity, and litigation support services for defense of client claims in the Enron Bankruptcy.  In addition, she also performed cost of service studies, cost of generation studies, and feasibility studies, which provided her with a strong background of the utilities industry.

Ms. Reisenauer holds a B.A. in Economics from Gonzaga University, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors and holding honors in Omicro Delta Epsilon (Economics Honor Society).
